INTRODUKTION: Ords dobbeltbetydninger og afstanden mellem ord og ting, er et gennemgående tema i Bonnesens værker. Skulpturen ligner til forveksling en almindelig affaldscontainer, men en ganske lille en af slagsen. Kunstneren peger selv på, at værket har form og størrelse som en ligkiste – en krop, og at container på engelsk blot betyder: beholder.
INTRODUCTION: Bonnesen often works with the double meanings of words and the distance between language and objects. This looks like an ordinary dumpster, albeit a small one. The artist points out, that his sculpture has the shape and size of a coffin – a body, and besides being a dumpster, it is a container in the general sense of the word
UDTALELSE: Der er lavet rigtig mange skulpturer om dødens alvor. Denne hører nok til de mere dobbelttydige
STATEMENT: There are numerous sculptures dealing with the seriousness of death. This is perhaps one of the more ambiguous ones.
